About the event
Have you ever wondered what an easement is or whether it would be right for your land? Enjoy a dinner of BBQ brisket provided by Pit Stop BBQ with fellow landowners and get answers to your questions. Join us for a panel discussion led by southwest Montana landowners that have protected family lands with a conservation easement and can speak first-hand about the logistics of doing so, and the impacts this decision has had on their land and family. The discussion will be facilitated by Daniel Anderson, a paradise valley rancher whose family placed their land in a conservation easement in 1999, who will be joined by the following landowners:
Allen & Yvonne Martinell, Lee Martinell Co Ranch (Dell, MT)
Les Gilman, Gilman IH Cattle Co Ranch (Alder, MT)
Rick Berg, Berg Ranch Co (Martinsdale, MT)
Dan High, Broksle Ranch (Twin Bridges, MT)
